My BIL also lives in Bristol and after being attacked by a dodgy cab driver he leapt over a wall that was unfortunately a lot lower the other side and he ended up with a broken heel bone - lucky he didn;t break his back. A woman found him and just yelled at him to go away - he tried explaining he couldn;t move but even then she still wouldn't call an ambulance - nice
When he finally got to hospital he had just as bad treatment from the nurses who insited he was being lazy and refused to give him a bedpan, told him he shoudl get up and walk, even though he was in agony!
Luckily he is on the mend now.
