I have joined this site solely to remind all you thoughtless, forgetful, selfish ba#@ards that Madeleine McCann is missing!!!!!!!! I cannot understand how anyone can sit with their arms around their own children, in the comfort of a cinema whilst feeding their children popcorn and Coke that there are lots of mothers in this world who cannot do this. Their children have been taken from them and I wonder if any of you had the money or the resources available to them, I wonder if you would have campaigned this long or this hard for their daughters return. I wish the McCanns every success and only wish I could physically find their daughter for them. I am taking my 6 kids to see Shrek tomorrow and I hope my cinema is still showing the Madeleine film. I hope the publicity generated stays in your faces for a long time to come. Tell me, if she passed in front of you down at the shops or at the park could any of you be bothered to actually tell someone. Or are you all just to happy in the knowledge that its not one of your children. There but for the grace of God............

Re - taking your own food into the cinema.

It is allowed (they can try to stop you but you can throw it straight back at them) and I believe I am right in saying that they have no rights as they are selling at over the RRP, that's why they don't have signs up.

BigMamie - Bugger off back to your bridge!

Bit odd to come onto a site, first ever post pronounce we're all thoughtless, forgetful, selfish bastards - and then cry when we tell you to go away.

Over the RRP wisteria! And then some. The 'food' (I use the word advisedly) costs half as much as the tickets. It always outrages me. DH tells me to get a lige though.

A fully qualified paediatrician????????? Oh my goodness. That explains a lot.

The first time I tried to take dd to the cinema I gave her pic n mix, what tf was I thinking? She was bouncing off the walls and, not surprisingly, wouldn't sit down to watch the film, durr. By the time I'd realised my mistake it was too late.

at the idea that any of us would take Coke into the cinema though

Thank god we're not getting partially qualified paediatricians on here insulting us and talking bollocks, that would be hard to take. As it is...

oh guys, please pleast stop, we made BigMammie cry, and she is worried about our children. She is qualified no less!!
We must be less heartless and welcome her with open arms, and just ignore any insults she slings at us in her opening post.

a paediatrician wouldn't need to describe herself as "fully qualified"....it would be implicit

Report
Tamum · 03/07/2007 18:02

That was the point I was trying to make Tissy, obviously being too gentle

Mind you, to have had 6 children and fit in time to become fully qualified is quite something

Kathyis6incheshigh · 03/07/2007 18:02

I agree Tissy.
Usually people only say 'I am a qualified....' if they've done the training and can't get a job.
But I am not convinced even of that in this case.

Ok everyone....stand back please......stand back.....we have a "fully qualified paediatrician here"...stand back.....

Report
OrmIrian · 03/07/2007 18:05

And anyway what has the OPs qualification got to do with anything?

Perhaps I shall start my next post with "as a fully qualified BA Hons graduate in archaeology and English"... then people will take me more seriously won't they????
