Apologies if there's already a thread on this - Anyone read this article about the Portuguese detective working on the Madeleine McCann case and his involvement with a previous abduction case? It's easy to point fingers from afar but this does seem fairly shocking link

Bloody hell.

The second comment mentions Interpol, surely they should step in, it is obvious that wee lass is nowhere near Portugal now.

Or is she? This would be enough to send a parent insane, really, this not knowing.

IIRC when it first kicked off there was a news item about the Portugean missing children and how the parents were angered by the publicity over Madeleine when their own children had been ignored by the police. There was mention of people high up in authority who were aware of a problem but I can't remember if it was just awareness or if they had been involved. This story sends chills down the spine, how much evidence has been lost.

The British Consulate, can they not do something, she is a British citizen so could they not make British police responsible for the investigation? It is hopefully not too late.
