there is another thread about this caller but on that there is a link to gerry mccan's blog which more or less says it was a false alarm

Apparently the McCanns were told to delay boarding a flight to Amsterdam, but police couldn't get back in touch with the man, so they eventually took off.

Apparently the Maccans have already said that this phonecall has lead to nothing. Think the general idea now is that it was a hoax.

According the Gerry McCanns's blog site the most recent update proved to be insignificant and they have continued with their plans to move round Europe. Sjy are always far too quick to most so called updates, and often there actually ends up being no real news at all.

Well I answered you seriously WB, and all I can say is that I would probably have forgotten all about it by now if this thread hadn't risen it's head.

Ok it's naff & crap, but if her name comes up in MN active convos and just one, I mean just one person goes away on holiday to Morrocco and sees her, (long shot I know) at least it will still be in their minds.

I don't watch the news everyday. The only thing that keeps her name in my mind is here. Obviously real life has to take over for some amount of time. But at least it keeps it up, which is what the MCNs want to do.

They are lucky. They have the power & backing to do so.

If it seems a bit weird, then okay, but who on earth can say that it's weird to do mad things when looking for your missing child. THEY WANT us to talk about Madeline, not forget her because of some ban on MN (which is very powerful IMO)
