It has taken over a year to design this.

I have something similar made out of lego bits that my three year old designed.

at LOSR.

is it really going to be shocking pink and yellow??? Are they colour blind?

I used to work for a competitor of Wolf Ollins and they were bloody expensive.

Just goes to show you don't always get what you pay for.

Absolutely hideous.

If they wanted something graffiti-like, they should have got Banksy to do it...

On the BBC 606 newsgroup someone has pointed out it looks like lisa simpson on the right performing a sex act on someone!

I quite like it - took me a second or two to realise its a graphic 2012 but also look like a plan of the site - sort of.

proabably not worth the money though

The video is fine - the logo = is way different to normal, is this what they wanted? It looks dull no colour, why can't they at least have the rings in colour on the logo to brighten it up? also it looks like 20 then 1.2. I don't think you know for sure what it said unless you are told.

actually when you see the logo in Full it's OK it's when you only see one of them it looks odd

No its not, it just compounds the error.

I don't mind the video, it does kind of come together...

BUT...they say they want it to appeal to "young people"....

AND.....

They didn't want to alienate the rest of the country by making it to "London-based".

Does anybody else find that a bit ageist, city-ist, and slightly hypocritical.

Compared to say the Sydney logo....oh dear I hope they aren't starting as they're going to continue....they're in big trouble if they are!

All of them together look like a mass of jumping origami frogs. Most odd.

They are not intended to all be seen together like that though.

They should've got the crew from Smarteenies to have designed something...would have done a much better job !!

Took me ages to realise it said 2012, I thought it was supposed to be some kind of running/standing person (yes, exactly and that is without drink.)

I hate the logo mainly as it took me a little time to work out what it was.

Having seen the video I can kind of see where they are coming from. I quite like the video.

When the video ends on the logo, all I can describe is a feeling of ANTI CLIMAX.

I am really not sure it works. It's over engineered, quite frankly! Shame.

the logo is awful, cost a fortune to come up with but looks so bland. bright colours do not make up for, or mask, bad design.

OH DEAR!I heard about this on radio on way home this evening. It's worse than it sounded! why must they try to be cool and 'hip'? Don't they know that trying is the least cool thing to do? and if they wanted it to look like grafitti - why not get an actual grafitti artist to do it??

Okay, now all I can see is an obscene image of Lisa Simpson... thank you for that!
