Now it's just happened as RG was outside reporting for GMB.

No one knows what happened or why and if it's suspicious or not.

But I think the fact the immediate reaction was for armed police, no one to approach the car until they arrived and a huge cordon was applied once they'd seen driver shows that we do in fact live in a time where the suspicion is always the worst rather than the best.

Thank goodness no one else other than the driver is involved.

Headline in the Daily Mail should say:

"Knob drives Ford Fiesta into wall"

Not the right car. Not the right day.

As usual innocent people pay whilst the real crims are on holiday.

He has been arrested on terror charges though which means they do believe that this was his motive; what he's been charged with so far is murder - this could well change.

I don't know about the citizenship - if we are going to strip people of citizenship and ship them back to another country where they will face the death penalty it feels like we are letting other people do our dirty work for us.

Yes they suspected terror attack and hence his arrest for suspected terror attack.

I started this thread because I watched it unfold and felt it a sign of our terror threat severity when the first thing we all feel is terror.

However whatever reason they have and whatever has gone on behind the scenes the charge - currently - is attempted murder.

My point about the "always assume it's terror" is because this what terrorists have been doing recently for attacks as intelligence has matured.

However people running into crowds and walls etc isn't a new things and has be bourne of other motives in the past.

I'm not sure I'm explaining myself well.

I think people talking a it a trial run or casing out may be onto something. I half expected to wake up this morning to breaking news of an attack somewhere else in the U.K. wondering if this was a decoy iyswim?

One thing I know for sure is that she should be given 3 sentences for the 3 people he hit and injured or even 15 charges - 1 for every person he attempted to murder.
