I've had enough doctors fiddling round with mine thanks, it MUST be attractive already

I'm highly critical of my appearence and do my best to feel ok about myself....

But as for my swinging, flapping, raggedy old labia - I couldn't give a monkeys.

Joan is right, besides a flappy labia makes for a well ventilated, non-sweaty fanjo.

I've NEVER heard any man say anything derogatory about anyone's vagina, so it makes you wonder who they're getting the surgery for exactly?

FGS! I can't believe they're even considering offering this on the NHS when some people still ave to wait 5 YEARS for a hearingaid and 10 YEARS fr a powered wheelchair. grrr.

you can see where the confusion over what to call 'bits' comes from. cos the headline is vagina (because it rhymes no doubt) and the article is about vulvas and labias (labiai? labiae?)

...and some people aren't offered all the cancer drugs/treatments available because they're expensive....

Agreed, in all but extreme cases (deformities or where the woman is in pain due to the problem) it shouldn't be financed by the NHS.

Having had surgery on my labia I would not recommmend it for recreational purposes, funnily enough

Banana - that's because if they get to the point where they can see it they are past caring what it looks like

Well, exactly. If ANYTHING it's women who comment more on men's genitalia, as the other night's "Virgin School" thread showed. The poor lad got his willy out after years of worrying about its size so much he had never even kissed a girl... and MN tore it to shreds saying how small he was!

We are our own worst critics, I spose.
