Melania has been putting pressure on her husband (god help her) over the entire debacle. She has previously tweeted or made statements that are covertly opposite to white house policy. I think as soon as his presidency is done she'll file for divorce.
So I think its a jab at her husbands administration and republicans. A nice way of saying 'Fuck off'.
I was reading comments on social media yesterday from Trump voters that they blame Melania for putting influence on Trump over this. Comments along the line of: 'Trump had to go and be a pussy by listening to his wife and daughter. He's so pussy whipped' nada nada.
I definitely think it is not just a crass statement, but has intention.
