My theory: she’s had some “work” done & is lying doggo til the swelling goes down, under the guise of a minor bladder procedure.
Any other ideas?

She is defo still missing. All the other Trumps have farted off in marine 1 to camp David for the weekend and she was not among the party, that’s according to pool reports. Even Tiffany the Forgotten Trump was there! Yet no Melania.

I think (hope) she's finally had enough of that hairy sweet potato face and she's refusing to do any more FLOTUS shit.

She only had the kidney operation 2 weeks ago - surely it’s more likely to be to do with that? Maybe it’s not healing well, maybe the operation was more serious than is being said, maybe it’s revealed something more concerning, maybe it just took it out of her and she’s taking longer to recover than was expected. It seems a bit mean spirited to leap straight to ‘she’s off having extensive plastic surgery’.

I thought it was a hernia? Mum has a kidney removed and was out and about working 2 weeks (and her other one was knacky).

I think she is just keeping her head down.

I suspect cosmetic surgery too. Time will tell. In ten years, when none of this matters, we'll have some very interesting biographies to read.

I don’t think she needed any work done. She still looks model-ly (although maybe has had some world done before - do you need ‘Touch ups’?). She is young and looks fine (although maybe it’s ‘the thing’ among the rich Americans).

If it’s plastic surgery they’re is the joke in there about having 15stones of useless flab /unpleasant growth removed...

I think she just finds Donald so annoying and embarrassing she refuses to go!

I hope she's ok. She is the only person in the White House with any idea of how to behave. Plus Barron needs one functioning, caring parent.

I find her quite admirable in her self composure. She's so steely it's unreal.

I am in the U.S. In the polls over here she is the most popular in this administration by far.
