I wouldn't pick up anything like dropped food, just kick it into the gutter. I say to dts that some little mouse or little bird will get a treat tonight, even if it is a dirty great rat or pigeon.

Other than that I hate people who casually walk along dropping litter. Have a strong urge to walk up with their dropped litter in hand and point out they left something behind.

But drop a fag butt and you get fined £5 less!

I once yelled out of DD's window for a kid to pick up the bottle he had just drop kicked onto the road, he couldn't work out where I was but picked it up pretty damn sharpish!

quite right too - hate litter louts, especially around us - need to pick up anything thats dropped (food or otherwise) becasue of the blody seagulls.
