Just wanted to reiterate what we have said on previous threads

We are asking you not to post any speculation about the case or any personal comments about the family of this child.

We really do want to allow discussion to continue, but ultimately we'll have to consider deleting whole threads if we can't keep them within the realms of civility. And as ever, huge thanks to the vast majority - who are doing just that!

Hi all,

We're stepping in once again to request that posters discuss this event with the appropriate level of civility it deserves, rather than resorting to personal attacks and speculation. We don't want to remove the entire thread but we will, should we feel that it goes beyond repair.

When posting, it's important to remember that two parents have very recently lost their child after an arduous journey - this has to be one of the most painful things that a person can face. Can we please bear that in mind?

Again, we really, really don't want to delete this thread but we will have to take action if we continue having to remove posts.

Hi everyone,
We have been receiving reports about this thread and have made several deletions. Our guidelines for behaviour on this thread haven't changed in the wake of Alfie Evans' death, so we would still prefer if you didn't attack the parents, family or medical staff or speculate about their behaviour/motives etc.
