So Prince William dropped a massive hint saying the baby he wouldn't rule out Prince Alexander, reckon the baby will be called that or is he just releasing a red herring?

I read somewhere they don't name after senior living royals so probably not Philip. I think Michael would be nice. Does her family have any mention in either of the other kid's names?

Me too Muddy, I know it can't happen. It was just my first thought when I saw a photo of the baby. He is a lovely squidgy little newborn

Much more than suitable than Arthur!! Even though its old old name it's more than contemporary than Arthur. Suits sibling. That or Edward

There’s loads of Repetition of names in the royal family, I think it’ll be Edward, Philip, Charles or James.

Arthur is the name of a mythical king, there’s no way they’ll name him that.

I'd say they will rule Charles out due to Charlotte and James is her brothers and brother in law's name

So maybe too much of the same name will rule it out.

With all these same names being recycled, either middle or first, there doesn't seem to be much choice!

Definitely won't be Phillip that might be a middle name but I think George already had that so in that case he won't have it, Charles may be a middle name but I really hope not, I think there is too many James's and I can't see them choosing Edward

I think they should just name him Prince.

Prince "with a silent The Artist Formerly Known As".

And dress him in lots of purple, and Cuban-heeled baby booties.

Arthur, Albert, Frederick, James...so dull. Roger is a strong name. Thibault. Bob 'King Bob' if he likes racing corgis!
