here Apparently she was diagnosed recently with ovarian cancer there is also rumours she took her own life

also (and this seems to be inexplicably missed from much of the newspaper comment) her husband ran off with another woman 3 years ago which didn't do much for her depressive tendancies

Yes, he ran off with a lesbian novelist, to add to the whole 20s bohemia feel of the whole thing. She then seduced a gondolier, apparently. But they did get back together, I understand.
She was suicidal years ago though, from what I've heard. The baby thing was a serious blow to her. And she thought she was hideously ugly
