Presumably he's hankering for the good old days when we had quality programming like....

GamesMaster! Patrick Moore and Dominik Diamond; what a combination.

huge amount of crap on tv - stating the obvious a bit.

Due to women - talking out of his arse.

NKF · 08/05/2007 19:26

Is Patrick Moore the old chap who once presented the dullest programme ever?

Greensleeves · 08/05/2007 19:27

LOL, isn't the old tosser dead yet?

anorak · 11/05/2007 14:06

This has just been discussed on "The Message" on Radio 4. The fab Michael Bywater gave a very funny report on it ripping the piss out of Patrick Moore.

If you want to listen again on your computer, go to here and click on listen again.

Bywater was on in the last 5 minutes of the programme, you can spin it on to near the end if you don't want to listen to the rest.

I think he's absolutley right.
Loose Women
Neighbours
Tricia
Need I say more?
The problem is a lot of these programmes are made by MEN who think that this is what women wnat to watch.
Give me Top Gear any day!!!!

DrippingLizzie · 11/05/2007 14:18

Totally agree with Devious D. Loose Women makes me feel nauseous...loud, common old rentagobs spouting trivial shite that the producers think will interest their female viewers. Haven't watched it for a while now; that botoxed old bag (Sheree Someone?) from Coronation Street was the final straw.

Rantum · 11/05/2007 14:21

In my house we constantly have to watch drivel about little puppets called tweenies and a plastic man who fixes things called Bob.

I blame the children.

DeviousDaffodil · 11/05/2007 14:23

I agree Rantum I nam not ALLOWED to watch daytime TV!

Daytime tv is rubbish, but that is probably to do with the fact that most people are too busy living their lives (or MNing in some cases ) to actually watch it.

Evening tv is rubbish too. Now, why is that?
