Heard on the radio this morning that last night there were false stories being circulated on the net that Peter Andre had died yesterday.
Apparantly his website has had to put out a statement to say he is still alive

here

"Ironic that Jordan whose life is based on visuals has a son who cannot see her."
I think it's very ironic actually, and nothing wrong with saying that IMO.

ScoobyDooooo · 01/05/2007 18:47

Well sorry but i think that comment is just sick!

donnie · 01/05/2007 18:47

lol bundle.

Quootiepie · 01/05/2007 18:49

Why aren't we disecting every person who lives in the media spotlight? Or every women who has ever dared expose herself. Why Jordan? She doesn't make people but every magazine, every newspaper article, every picture of her. She doesn't make us discuss her and Peter on here. WE have the problem, not her. She is the one getting paid for it though

kimi · 01/05/2007 18:49

They are filming a fly on the wall thing so she would have a film crew with them.
WE can choose weather or not to watch the shows buy the mags and papers or not, they dont come round and beat you with a kipper till you look.
Its up to you to look or not.

bundle · 01/05/2007 18:49

I hope Peter is feeling better today

wannaBeWhateverIWannaBe · 01/05/2007 18:49

why is it sick scooby

wannaBeWhateverIWannaBe · 01/05/2007 18:51

we discuss kate moss though, we discuss the beckhams, peter and katie are by no means unique.

kimi · 01/05/2007 18:51

I'm going to cook dinner now.

But I still think some people on here have been very spiteful especially the ones asking if he is dead yet, as my gran always said what goes around comes around.

Quootiepie · 01/05/2007 18:51

Thats like saying "oh, how ironic this man who does speeches has a mute son" mwah ha ha ha ha

or "oh, this lawyer has a low IQ son"

Why even say that?

noddyholder · 01/05/2007 18:52

Sick? really?

bundle · 01/05/2007 18:52

kimi. there is a line. over which film crews shouldn't step.

I could imagine - if I was Jordan - saying No if my husband was seriously ill in hospital when they asked if they could film.

noddyholder · 01/05/2007 18:53

It doesn't mean that at all.Although if a great orator had a deaf child that would also be ironic Your argument is fundamentally flawed MN has seriously dumbed down

Aloha · 01/05/2007 18:54

People seem happy to accept that this woman has influence when it comes to somehow promoting the cause of children with special needs (by selling their story for a large amount of money) but none at all when it comes to creating a culture where teachers try to instill a love of learning to children who see that the fast track to cash and 'respect' is porn, or guns or drugs.

bundle · 01/05/2007 18:54

The Queen opened the Richard Desmond Children's Eye Centre

Quootiepie · 01/05/2007 18:54

Maybe they were just filming her outside his room? Filming her in the car? He would have given his consent, I am sure it wasn't a cut and dry and "bringing the film crew along". We know nothing about their lives, only see what we want to see.

Porcupine · 01/05/2007 18:55

no on answered my jordan t shirts q

wannaBeWhateverIWannaBe · 01/05/2007 18:55

not the same at all IMO. I think that if jordan was a fabulous artist and painted the most wonderful work, then the fact she has a son who cannot se her work would be very sad, as he would never be able to see and appreciate the things that she had done, but considering that everything to her is visual in terms of getting her boobs out for men to wank over, that her whole existance is based on her exterior, I think it's very ironic that he will never be able to see what his mother stands for.

bundle · 01/05/2007 18:55

"we know nothing about their lives" ??? >

cod - NO to t-shirts

aloha - that's exactly what I said but no one takes any notice...

Porcupine · 01/05/2007 18:56

adn money for nothing

Porcupine · 01/05/2007 18:57

LOLOL at juxtaposition of photoand headline

Quootiepie · 01/05/2007 18:57

Sorry for tainting the holy mumsnet with my low IQ. Whatever I say, however much it does or doesn't make sense, I can sleep at night knowing I didn't say "shame" at someone not dying, or one of the many other horrid comments on here. I think MN has "dumbed down" with horrid, spiteful people, not people who are not extensivly educated. I'd rather be kind, and thoughtful than intellectual

Aloha · 01/05/2007 18:57

As for the point that she must be showing her family for purely altruistic reasons...well, she's trying to make money in America, where the family stuff plays better than the hands-down-knickers-falling-out-nightclubs routine.
As for not knowing about their lives....well, it isn't for want on trying on their part, is it?

Porcupine · 01/05/2007 18:58

oh god i didnt mean it obviosly
i dont wish other humas dead
get over it

bundle · 01/05/2007 18:58

Quootiepie I wish Peter Andre nothing but a speedy recovery, and haven't said otherwise
