Heard on the radio this morning that last night there were false stories being circulated on the net that Peter Andre had died yesterday.
Apparantly his website has had to put out a statement to say he is still alive

ShinyHappyPeopleHoldingHands · 01/05/2007 18:24

Norty coddy Let's pretend it just fine to wish somebody dead... whose sick husband shall we start on next????

kimi · 01/05/2007 18:25

Well not the sort of thing the beckhams talk about is it?

donnie · 01/05/2007 18:26

oh yes: she donates stuff to charity so she must be some kind of saint!! like she has to dig deep and all that. That is such a non-argument. Multi millionaire gives some stuff to charity. Yes - and?

bundle · 01/05/2007 18:26

i think they have talked about it, but briefly.

ShinyHappyPeopleHoldingHands · 01/05/2007 18:26

God Donnie... would you prefer she DIDN'T support charities?? Would that make it easier for you?

donnie · 01/05/2007 18:28

the Richard Desmond eye foundation - is this the same Richard Desmond who is, in fact, a porn Baron? who owns loads of porn magazines??? well, he owns OK magazine so I suppose it is!

I think if you regard her as a good influence (donating SN stuff, promoting good causes) then you have to also acknowledge that she might have other kinds of influence wrt her job and image.

Snaf · 01/05/2007 18:28

A whole tenner between all those charities?

Quootiepie · 01/05/2007 18:29

at you all (well, some of you). The womans movement or whatever wasn't so women could work, wear trousers and vote, it was so women had freedom, free to do as THEY choose. Jordan isn't pimped out against her will, exploited, she has CHOSEN her own career path and good luck to her. Why should one bit of flesh be different to another? Why can men be topless and even on MN people swap links to men they fancy, topless. No one on here knows her, and what most of us do know I am utterly sure it is pure jealousy. You don't have to plaster your walls in her pictures, but for god's sake have some fucking respect. And it's just the lowest of the low to say "shame" that Peter hasn't died. Hardworking mother who poses topless vs. a bunch of evil women bitching away, dear me I wonder who is the more moral person

donnie · 01/05/2007 18:30

I can't believe she has made an album. I am laughing out loud!! !

kimi · 01/05/2007 18:30

Oh can we start wishing ill on the familys of mumsnetters now???
I mean we all give as much internet support as we can to the people on here having a bad time, I have been n tears over some posters.

So can we look forward to the HAHA your hubby died posts?
Or shall we g over to the SN board and have a go at people there, could be a laugh, accuse them of exploiting their kids.
Ooooooooooooooorr the next time an unmarried mum posts can we bitchfest her?

The woman is expecting, she has had PND her DS1 is sever SN and her husband is really sick now some wanker post sick he is dead crap on the internet and a bunch of women who have no clue about this womans real life rip her to bits.
GO MUMSNET GO

DeviousDaffodil · 01/05/2007 18:30

if you can't see the irony littlelapin then I feel sorry for you.

I suppose I feel sorry for Jordan as well - as she is really rather stupid. But I feel sorriest for her poor son whose life is held up the the cameras all the time for financial gain.

kimi · 01/05/2007 18:34

well said QP (hows things with you now)

donnie · 01/05/2007 18:35

I only skim read (I am fine now BTW, things going good so far x thanks x)

Anyhow, it's the case of if she didn't update the public on her children etc, press would find more and more ways to get into her life, probably upsetting her children more - far better to do it in a civilised and controlled way. It must be hard having a career and a family, the choices you make. When she was single, yes she may have loved media attention, but she can't turn it off now. Hardly child abuse or anything.

noddyholder · 01/05/2007 18:37

I don't think anyone wishes P A ill will at a time like this BUT it has become another photo opportunity for them which is awful and i don't really think any of us need to know about her bedside vigil And just because someone does somwething good like build a hospital it does not give them carte blanche to do as they please in other areas of their lives. The charity work doesn't somehow cancel out the porn tat

Quootiepie · 01/05/2007 18:37

I dunno, someone said something about a womans movement - I was just generalising (badly) about femanism.
