That's it really. I'm just curious to know where people plan to cast their votes?

Would anyone on here vote for the BNP?

unknownrebelbang · 30/04/2007 16:40

Would anyone admit to it?

paulaplumpbottom · 30/04/2007 16:43

I wouldn't have thought so

Eleusis · 30/04/2007 16:57

Paula, you have too much money. You should send it to me.

paulaplumpbottom · 30/04/2007 16:59

Lol I could pay for your tory voting nanny.

Eleusis · 30/04/2007 17:01

PeachyChocolateEClair · 30/04/2007 17:09

I am voting lib dem, I also delier their eaflets. When I needed help with ds3 and his SN education, the Labour guy told me it wasn't his concern and the Lib Dem chap (this is Welsh Assembly- Labour is MP) took the case on and has worked really closely with us on the matter, and amde a big differnce. Thats enough for me.

I'm voting Conservative........only because it's them or Labour

Eleusis · 30/04/2007 17:20

Oh thank God. I've got my fingers out now.

fannyannie · 30/04/2007 17:22

I HATE the Tory's though it must be said - and I'm only voting for them because I'm no longer a Labour supporter, but don't want to be in a position where I'm complaining about a cr*p local council which I had no hand in electing...........

TwoIfBySea · 30/04/2007 22:16

SNP, since I had my first vote all those years ago I have tended to vote that way.

Anyone who votes Labour after what they have or rather failed to do while the had the chance needs their heads read. Anyone but Labour. I hate how Labour is making it a 2 horse race when really, if you don't want to vote Labour, and don't want to vote SNP there is Tories (may God have mercy on your soul), LibDem (Labour lapdogs), Green, Solidarity (stop laughing!) and enough independent candidates to give one faith in the system.

Our recycle bin is full of bumf, dh thinks I am mad to have read any of it but you need to know what the person you vote for stands for.

Quootiepie · 30/04/2007 22:18

I don't even know if I can vote... I put my name on the electrol roll, is that what you do? If so, conservative I guess.

TwoIfBySea · 30/04/2007 22:25

Quootie, did you not get your voting card through? You can check at the library iirc that you are on the electoral roll.

NadineBaggott · 30/04/2007 23:36

take a wild stab in the dark

MrsGumby · 30/04/2007 23:49

Wasn't arsed until I got a flyer from local Green Party candidate (surname Pease) with the slogan "My name's Pease, but my policies aren't mushy".
He's got my vote.

paulaplumpbottom · 01/05/2007 11:55

Oh dear thats bad

expatinscotland · 01/05/2007 11:57

VOTE PEOPLE!

ledodgy · 01/05/2007 12:00

We have a local artist running this year he wants to know what's happened to the City of Culture money and why Garston village near here was meant to have been a cultural village and have lots of money pumped into it and it hasn't. I think i'm voting for him because a cultural village nearby means increased house prices as well as being much nicer to the eye and pumps money into the local community.

CharlotteSometimes · 01/05/2007 20:41

Is this nationwide?

twinsetandpearls · 02/05/2007 00:01

we have a number of bnp candidates standing ion our council, I was heckled by quite a few bnp supporters when out canvassing this weekend. THere is a real chance they will get at least one seat here which is why I ahve canvassed hard .

On a nicer note I met our tory opponent on the trail this evening and we stopped for a chat and went for a drink as we got on so well!

UCM · 02/05/2007 00:05

I am voting for an indepent bloke whose 'ideals' are pretty important about the small area in which I live. The park, the beach, cctv in grafitti covered areas, mostly because he wants to do something about our local area really....

rbj949703 · 02/05/2007 00:29

Haven't decided who to vote for yet. It won't however be the tory candidate. We've had leaflets from most of the parties but the tory candidate's seemed too good to be true. My suspicions were correct when she was on the front page of the local paper today, she joined UKIP while still a member of the conservatives. UKIP didn't know she was campaigning as a conservative, and the conservatives didn't know she'd joined UKIP. She's since resigned from UKIP. Before this she would have had a slim chance of my vote, but now the only chance she has of my vote is 'no chance'.
