No mention of this anywhere and I google “news” once every hour or so.

Horrible. So many people dead.

I've just been looking on the BBC news app and had to scroll down 12 headlines to find it. Could very easily be missed. Those poor poor people.

I can’t comprehend the stoicism and desperation of the people who have to go about their lives in these horrifyingly dangerous places. Somalia... how do people manage? I know they have to, but how?

I've had another look and it is there as the third news story. I'm shocked at myself that I don't notice it. I'm not sure why, it must be they way it was written. "Hundreds dead" didn't jump out as much as "250 dead" in the title of this thread.

Yes.... why??? Disgusting man, disgusting crimes, but not the most important thing happening in the world today. The bomb in Somalia will no doubt drop off the radar altogether in a couple of days. Terrible event

My BBC News front page looks like this right now, with Somalia just below Weinstein story. Might be to do with cookies, ie babybarrister if you don't usually show an interest in African news, then it will be given lower priority in what you're served.
