I've just read about this case today. link
The woman who was convicted was being paid £3.60 an hour to look after a baby with some medical problems in a one bedroom flat that she wasn't supposed to take him out of at all. She wasn't allowed to wash up his food bowls so the parents could see how much he ate. One the day the baby became ill she had been in the flat less than half an hour when the prosecution say she had harmed him in a terrible way. It just doesn't add up to me.
