Doesn't her mum look after her kids? I feel really sorry for her - she doesn't seem like the sharpest knife in the drawer, her marriage has failed as have her successive brief relationships if we believe the press; her kids are really little which can be lonely if you are on your own and she just seems to have gone completely off the rails. Hasn't she also been dropped by her publicist or did I imagine that?

Seems like one very unhappy young woman IMO (even though I still think the hair thing looks dreadful!)

One report I read said when a fan asked her why she had shaved her head she said "because of you"

Surely she must see most people are worried for her - she seemed so nice and level headed when she started out!

I feel sorry for Britney....I have always loved her music, etc..it must be difficult to be in the public eye whilest your life is crumbling apart.
I hope that she can sort herself out and finds happiness.She has a lot going for her!

When a photographer asked her why she had shaved her head, she muttered: "Because of you."

And that kind of makes sense, she was obviously in a state before she went into the hairdressers, and obvioulsy had been followed by paps...so, something possibly just snapped?

Ok, if I have to see her bloody shaved head everywhere any more ... gah. Her hair is the same length as mine. There's no chance people would actually think I'd copied her? I am wanting to hide under my bed or buy a wig or something, frankly.

I find this really sad, actually. Not really a laughing matter. She obviously needs help

i think she looks gorgeous, but i love short hair on women (had one myself a few years ago - well half of it!)

but thats besides the point, i think the circumstances in which she did it is sad and unnerving,

i dont think its a fashion statement, i think its a cry for help

It's possible this is something good for her. I'd say it's impossible for anyone to tell, from just the media coverage.

I'd agree that it's worrisome, combined with her dropping out of rehab.

it doesn't look like it to me. It looks like a cry for help. You can see in her eyes she is deeply troubled. I do hope she gets some help

Poor woman, she fell pregnant with her 2nd child before her body (and mind) could barely recover, and she's now a single mum.

I've read another coment from her today. When she was questioned about her hair, she said
"I dont want people touching me. I'm sick of people touching me"

I could give her a big cuddle.

she dioes seem really down in the dumps or depressed atm. she has a lot to deal with and all in the spotlight as well.
