More dreadful attacks in USA - am surprised there's been no thread on here yet:

What action do you think he should be taking?
He should be trying to prevent (terrorism) - or, at least, stating publicly that he is trying to prevent it (and crime, and drugs, etc.). He was quick enough to be concerned about women's bodies when he first got in, so a few platitudes that he's doing all he can would have been welcome. However, we got a shoulder shrug (contrast that with his lightning concern about women's bodies). As to what he should be doing - he should be telling us that he's spending our taxes on counter-terrorism measures and he should list them (I'm sure he knows what to say). As I said upthread - a huge disappointment.

Did you feel Boris Johnson was doing that?

Or Ken?

And the MoL doesn't have a 'prevention of terrorism' budget. That's down to the security services. Who will be doing what they can wherever they can, without Joe Bloggs needing to know about it.
