I have no words feel enormously heartbroken for that poor girl, her life ended so young because of terrorism. I really struggle to understand how anyone could be such a monster, I really really do.

Poor child, that's horrific.

A terrible crime. Poor child. Unfortunately there will be more crimes like this while the land is illegally occupied. I notice in the Telegraph report the mother is quoted as saying that the land they occupy "is ours". AFAIC this makes her complicit in her daughter's death.

pepperpot99 - yes, the whole situation is a mess, but however wrong the occupation is, it cannot be justification for murdering an innocent child (who didn't have any choice where she lived).

Absolutely agree Hygellig, no justification at all. I agree also that the poor girls had no choice in where she lives. The parents did though. I find it almost impossible to believe the depth of hubris in claiming the land as theirs because of their religion , and the fact that they willingly put their own children in harm's way because of it. Unbelievable.

The kids that live in Israel get murdered too , another one the other day. And the Palestinians also say that the land the Israelis occupy is theirs. So presumably that's OK too?

Also note mn not giving a toss about mass murder in Ankara.

Eh I saw this news article about a CHILD murdered, I didn't give a fuck about her race or religion, nor where she lived or why she was killed.

What I cared about, and felt incredibly sad about, is that a CHILD was murdered. So before you come posting crap about how everyone doesn't care about whatever you're so angry over just remember that people can be upset at more than one person being murdered in more than one country.

Poor child. In the photo, it looks as though two other children sleep in the same room. How can they ever feel safe going to sleep again? I hope they get all the help they need.

I remember a news report by the Beeb chappie. he described how a young girl was washing up at the kitchen sink when she was killed by an Israeli soldier shooting through the window. Of course the soldier was doing his duty.

Given her age and stage (early teens ) and the very young age of her killer I kind of through that terrorism was not necessarily the first motive
And tragic death - and may she rest in peace .

ProfessorPrecise - it's not a game of top trumps. Israel has killed many innocent Palestinians and many soldiers appear to act with impunity; the army's actions often amount to collective punishment. But that doesn't mean that the poor girl deserved to be murdered in her bed or that she and her family deserve no sympathy. At the end of the day a child was brutally murdered.

Stopfucking - what do you think the motive was then? I doubt she knew her killer.
