All the people who want to waste their money voting for CBB why don't you give it to charity instead?

Why do you want to give it to ch 4? Why don't you want to give it to charity to help someone who is really being bullied? Childline for instance? or a poverty charity in India?

It might be as effective to contact Endemol and Channel 4 to insist that all proceeds from the votes this week go to a charity of Shilpa's choice - but for that they'd have to publicly admit that there has been racism and bullying.

No smiley it has always been for channel 4 and endemol

I sense a looooong going nowhere debate.......

lulumama · 18/01/2007 19:40

well......

how much money have you given to anti bullying charities or aid in india this year?

it is like saying don;t buy wine, or cigarettes or new clothes or new books, as you can make do without or buy second hand, and give the spare money to someone more deserving....

life is about choices.

we all pick and choose what we stand up for, what we believe in and who we give money to

what about people who don;t ever donate to charity?

encourage awareness of charitable giving, but don;lt make it 'you must do this if you watch this / believe this etc...'

Apparently tonight's will go to charity !

hunkermunker · 19/01/2007 17:38

I am sure the first series of CBB was for charity. The one Jack Dee won.

Saturn74 · 19/01/2007 17:41

I thought that too - was it Comic Relief?

hunkermunker · 19/01/2007 17:42

Yes, I think it was.

DizzyBint · 19/01/2007 17:53

all the money from votes today goes to charity, normally it's just a percentage.

LIZS · 21/01/2007 10:42

Jade is apparently donating her fee and the one for her NOTW article to charity. Would have been nice to have said that from the outset

paulaplumpbottom · 21/01/2007 12:19

She'll have to do more than that.
