So, what are we thinking about this? No U.S. citizens named so far.

interesting read Claig, thanks :)
lets hope stones are overturned so we can see what the creepy crawlies underneath have been up to under cover of darkness!

'lets hope stones are overturned'

You have to look at who the funders are. Some people will be exposed but others won't. It is all down to who controls the info. All of this type of info is probably all known by the really powerful and is leaked for advantage and control. This is the fourth largest firm of this type, but I am sure the really powerful know about the larger firms too.

The Guardian is very much a "do as I say" sort of publication. On a similar note, I read yesterday that Tony Benn and then his widow practised pretty careful tax avoidance wrt the ownership of their big house. The elite just do as they please once the posturing is through. I don't think that anyone should resign over this (because there may be very few left!) but we need to get to grips with tax loopholes and offshore accounts.

I know😕
But at least it focuses peoples minds on how the wealthy get to be wealthy, the unevenness of the playing field, the lack of meritocracy etc

Also I feel it is optimistic to think that the general public and events can be controlled precisely, there are always unintended consequences, a butterfly flaps its wings in Brazil....
