Evening all,

Apologies for the interruption. We just wanted to clarify that nobody has been "thrown off the site" as a result of this thread.

We received a number of reports about some posts on the previous thread and when we checked things out, we could see what appeared to be some sock puppeting going on. This is in breach of our Talk Guidelines, and so we followed our usual protocol and temporarily suspended several accounts. We've mailed the poster/s in question, and are happy to discuss the matter with them.

This is a hugely important topic and we're keen for this discussion to continue, with minimal intervention from us. We're really not trying to silence anyone or stifle debate.
