wow I'm amazed he is allowed back so soon.

He really has made such an amzing recovery, considering those early reports.

Me too LizS. Dh had brain surgery a couple of years ago (is fine now) and he couldn't drive for a year and will have to re-apply for his license again in a few years. RH didn't actually have surgery which I guess is why he can drive again so soon.

I've had brain surgery and could still drive straight away (I didn't) I just had to send my license to DVLA for a 3 year one then after that they gave me my normal one back. no questions, no doctors asked, nothing.

Dh was specifically told he couldn't, had to be sure he wasn't going to have any fits or anything. His tumour was also behind his eyes and had affected his vision so maybe that was a factor as well.
