What on earth!? I don't understand and it's making me cringe

what don't you understand? they're great for zipping around London (I have one).

MrsSheRa · 09/05/2015 18:56

God what the he'll is all that about?! Embarrassing

MrsSheRa · 09/05/2015 18:56

Hell, even

NorahDentressangle · 09/05/2015 19:01

Aww booo. I thought you meant a scooter scooter

I wonder if it was a child's scooter. The child got fed up and was out of shot. SC was on it as it's easier than being waked in the shin carrying it. bitter experience

catkind · 09/05/2015 19:04

Why not? Great for keeping up with the kids, and I mean that in the literal not the fashion sense.

MrsSheRa · 09/05/2015 19:42

Maybe it depends on where you live. If I were to scoot one down the street folk would think I was mad.

springlamb · 09/05/2015 19:45

Aw I thought you meant like a Lambretta, and wearing a dark green Mac, channelling Paul Weller singing Town Called Malice.

PureMorning · 09/05/2015 19:48

any adult on a scooter is weird.

Any adult on a £165 scooter is a twat

BrockAuLit · 09/05/2015 19:49

Loads of adults use them in town.

They all look like twits.

Northernlurker · 09/05/2015 19:52

I think that story would have made a lot more sense if they'd published the pictures of the kids alongside her. It sounds like they were there but the mail for once has been decent about not publishing pictures of kids just because of who their parents are.

EldonAve · 09/05/2015 19:53

Quite a few people use them round here

MrsSheRa · 09/05/2015 20:01

Northern rather than protecting the kids I think the DM preferred the image of her looking carefree on an expensive scooter while her husband plans his next cuts.

mewkins · 09/05/2015 20:03

I once hired one when travelling. I fell off and graxlzed both knees. They were dripping with blood as limped back to the hire place. Someone should warn Sam Cam.

SouthWestmom · 09/05/2015 20:06

It's like a really bad attempt at looking like the rest of us - scooting back bored child's scooter in muddy jeans and t - shirt, normal. Scooting in blazer with designer bag - photo op gone wrong

missorinoco · 09/05/2015 20:09

She hasn't got my look down to a tee yet. I complete the muddy jeans look with a bloody knee when I fall off the evil things. That would really look wrong in designer gear.

sleeplessbunny · 09/05/2015 20:09

I have one just like that, it's great. What's the problem? Aren't adults allowed to have fun?

MrsSheRa · 09/05/2015 20:10

On the subject of Sam Cam.

When she and her husband were at the door of No.10 waving, did anyone else think she looked a bit unimpressed like, "oh Fgs not another 5 years of this life."

Me and Dm did.

PrepperInTraining · 09/05/2015 23:03

Scooters started as a commuter thing didn't they? I lived in Sydney about ten years ago, maybe longer, and there were loads of commuters on them?

SisterNancySinatra · 09/05/2015 23:08

She's finally gone nuts .

WalkingThePlank · 09/05/2015 23:37

I have one... Blush

Its fun going to the park with the DCs.

Sootgremlin · 09/05/2015 23:43

I've seen a couple of adults on them round here chasing kids on balance bikes, I've not thought anything of it.

Not in London either.

Behooven · 09/05/2015 23:49

That looks like fun and good on her

MrsBertMacklin · 09/05/2015 23:52

I bet she's had it in the shed for the last 3 months, dying to play with it, but not being able to for fear of being papped pre-election.

I never had a scooter, apparently they were for tomboys Envy

BadgersArse · 09/05/2015 23:52

What a cock
