This popped up on my facebook page, as a mum of 3 preschoolers porn and its availability online is something I am concerned about to say the least. Thought this was a very well presented view or insight in to how it is really influencing younger generations right now. I found it quite shocking and I am only mid thirties...

I would like more information on how to educate our kids around this issue and also if anyone knows how much this is dealt with in school sex education settings? If boys (and girls) are viewing this by age 14 (if not earlier) surely it needs to become part of our general sex education. But I wouldn't know where to begin!!

Any thoughts or experience? (Didn't know what section to post this in..)

You should read this book - good for mother to read and the kids... I don't know anything about porn but I am concerned that my teens will see it - very concerned given how it is early available on the internet. It degrades women and will undoubtedly effect their relationships if they are watching it too young. Please review after reading to encourage others to open this topic up with their children. Here is the link to the book on Amazon - hard to find such books out there: www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/1527255441/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?psc=1&tag=mumsnetforu03-21&ie=UTF8

You may get more discussion and opinion if you get this moved to the Feminism section on MN as porn is amongst other things a feminist issue. I share your concerns
