It's probably very wrong to find this funny isn't it?

Had forgotten about this thread. Started it and then went out. Thank you Rhubarb Actually, rememberd that an ex-housemate also shat in the bed when the landlord told him to leave.

i had a boyfriend who did it. he was married but only for a year.... (not to me praise be to god)

Greensleeves · 01/11/2006 20:04

OK, I sniggered at this. So shoot me.

Ripeberry · 02/11/2006 13:08

That reminds me of a visit to Lausanne in Switzerland. Me and my boyfriend went for a walk in the woods near Bois Gentil and an elderly lady was walking in front of us, must have been about 70 ish and i kid you not... she put her bags down and squated by the side of the path and did a shit.
We just walked back the way we came because we felt so embarrased. At the time i wanted to say something to her but i did not know the french for "dirty cow" and anyway she may have been senile anyway.
Adele.

My sil's mother did it on the platform of the New York subway. Not senile or old, just had to go.

I'm trying to imagine your sil's mother, Tinker. Was she with someone? Did she say, "Excuse me one moment, I just have to....aaaahhh, that's better. Could I borrow some tissues?"

twelveyeargap · 03/11/2006 17:50

Questions, my mum had repeated break ins in her place of business for months and months. Burglar always left them a "present" - often in the kettle.

He was eventually caught after he dropped his DSS card whilst there.

Blu · 03/11/2006 18:00

Two 'kettle' incidents. Deeply, deeply bizarre.
SOH, really sorry about your DH's hotel - shame on the police!

I can just about understand someone being so desparate that they took the M&S changing-room option, awful though that is, but to do it in a kettle?

Tinker · 03/11/2006 19:23

That takes some manouvering to get it into a kettle.
