As a new mumsnetter I'm not sure that I should butt into this discussion, but I have to know...are there different states of the fanjo? If for example you are possessed of a larger fanjo, is it then a fatjo? And if vice versa a finjo? And if allowed out for a night on the town, can it call itself a funjo?

TwigTwoolett · 11/10/2006 19:34

I like you .. welcome

EnidVorhees · 11/10/2006 19:37

(especially finjo)

considerphlebas · 11/10/2006 19:46

Thankyou Twig and Enid, I feel most welcome...and sort of like I have been marked with red pen in the margins..!

EnidVorhees · 11/10/2006 19:47

"An excellent start to the term for phlebas"

moaningpaper · 11/10/2006 19:48

Enid pmsl @ tick v.g.

lemonaid · 11/10/2006 19:53

"Phlebas shows considerable promise and we expect great things of her if she applies herself to her studies" [plus her name shows excellent taste ]

Pity they had to edit down the original article, but well done on the exposure.

considerphlebas · 11/10/2006 20:11

Best reports I've ever had, mum and dad would be most proud...usual ones read "would be mediochre if only she would concentrate more" and "could probably qualify for job as cleaner down the local if she would stop talking and pay attention" etc. etc. Loved the article though, as did the dh, ds is more interested in thomas the tank engine, although his ears pricked up at the mention of tidying nearby bins...

considerphlebas · 11/10/2006 20:20

mediocre even...is mediochre sort of an almost yellow but not quite, like chartreuse?

Did Victoria Derbyshire say that about you? - Have never liked that woman, ran off with someone else's husband!

moaningpaper · 12/10/2006 08:56

Hmm well I can't really slag her off on that front because I have done the same myself a few times

But sheFive Live DID seem to take it rather seriously - I think it was the first place to cover it and they hadn't given it a lot of considered analysis. It was all "People shouldn't say such wicked things on the internet!" type argument. I think by the time it had made it to Jeremy Vine people had started realising that IT WAS A JOKE.

(Lemonaid: The original article was best I agree )

handlemecarefully · 12/10/2006 10:55

What you've run off with someone's husbands several times, not just the once?!

Any chance you make take mine on - just had one careful owner....

Manoo · 12/10/2006 11:34

Great article. So where was the original?

TheBlairAitchProject · 12/10/2006 11:41

oi! i said the original was best. (can't be bothered scrolling back to see if lemonaid did too.)
