These people are going to go down, aren't they?

Oh well, live by the sword...

The stress and detriment to health and relationships that debt and its associated problems brings wouldn't be wished on my worst enemy.

A Wonga loan, PPI, private pension and an endowment mortgage. Have missed out on the lot!

Apparently other borrowers were stiffed for more than the contractual amount though. As if that weren't enough.

So swings and roundabouts.

I remember being told I needed a pension mortgage by a crook financial adviser in about 1995. A pension mortgage! I was then (probably still am) naive about anything beyond a basic current account, but even I laughed in his face at that idea.

I have had the remainder of my Wonga debt written off. Which is nice. And my conscience is entirely clear about it, as I have already paid off what I actually borrowed, about three times over - and they made a healthy profit out of me in the past, before my financial house of cards collapsed completely.
