Second Journalist beheaded by ISIS

The Guardian is reporting that Steven Sotloff, the other US journalist held alongside James Foley, has been beheaded and the footage uploaded to the net.
I am in complete despair at the horrors perpetrated by these fanatics. I am aghast at the dreadful, murderous hatred fuelling these people.

I agree, but only when they have a better idea. IMO David was never going to live with the British/American current stance.

I'd like to take back what I said earlier about ransoms being paid, in this instance. I heard a report yesterday where friends/family of David Haines have said he wouldn't have wanted a ransom to be paid anyway.

I hope they manage to rescue Henning in time or he miraculously manages to escape.

Perhaps we just need to disengage from the middle east, stop buying their oil and gas, get the moderates to seize the moment.

We need to be coming down much harder on the funding of these organisations, heavy pressure on turkey in terms of black market selling of oil (some news agencies saying ISIS making $3 million dollars a day!!) if your caught smuggling money you go to jail, not slapped wrists.
