I feel/felt totally ambivalent towards Diana and am by no means a Royalist (far from it) but Paul Burrell beggars belief. This is the man who has shamelessly profited off the back of knowing Princess Di. What a tw*t.

Regardless of who she is, how can anyone try and tell the person's children how and when they should grieve. They lost their mum for goodness sake - he was just the butler!

I too am ambivalent towards the whole royal family, but I think he is a total knob. He makes me want to puke when he goes all misty eyed talking about "The Princess"

Like you I'm not a royalist, but I do feel sorry for her sons. Every week it seems someone is stirring up a new conspiracy theory about their mother's death. That one about their father/grandparents/whoever getting her killed deliberately must be terribly hard to hear whether it be true or not. Also nasty rumours flying around about her and about her family.

Also someone who once worked for your mother (and was he sacked??) every week trying to make himself famous by sharing her secrets and telling stories about her must be horrible. And they have told people to shut up about it and to leave her to rest in piece.

Personally I think PAul Burrell should be shot. And everyone should leave this alone to let William and Harry remember her as they want to and not have to put up with all the crap said about her and her death.

saw this headline on a couple of the tabs when I opicked up my paper this morning - couldn't believe it. How dare he say that to those boys? How the hell does he know what they think or do or say about her? Just because they don't parade it all in public to make money like him. He is a complete arse and this has lowered him even further down in my estimation

Not particularly fond of the Royal Family but think it is pretty crass for a paid member of staff to criticise Diana's children. What a creepy guy.

Not a royalist by any means and don't read this sort of stuff unless in the dentist's waiting room, but why do people feel they need to talk to the press about such tosh? Who cares what he thinks anyway.

He did make me laugh till it hurt on Jungle Celeb prog though, dh came running in from kitchen to see what was up. Odd character.
