I like the argument that if lots of others are committing the same crime that makes it ok.

I guess that makes burglary ok then as that's really popular too.

No it means you should prosecute all burglars or re-categorise burglary as something we don't like much but don't prosecute. What you can't do is prosecute a burglar without convincing evidence and hope that their employer alone will be enough to damn them.

Couldn't believe the verdict. I was surprised that nothing happened in relation to her admitting that she had paid police officers for info. Did you know that the head of chambers where Rebekah Brooks legal team is based is the brother of David Cameron?
