It sounds to me like they are taking the comment that it could be used for the father and running with it for sensationalism. I mean, we stored ds's and already have the kit for this baby. Obviously, it is intended for the children's own use, but the fact that it has a 25% chance of matching myself or dh in time of need can't be overlooked.

But, excuse my ignorance, how many times can you use it? would you use it to repair your knee ligaments when you initially thought it could sort a life threatening problem for your child?
