There has just been a report on PM. People from Haringay were interviewed and I don't think a single person left their door open. So, Ian Blair in talking shite shocker then!!

I often leave my keys in the front door and the car open by accident However some no mark nicked my flower pots from my porch whilst we were on holiday!

I am always going to work and leaving my door open sometimes wide open I am assuming it is because I live in a nce leafy crime free suburb rather than the fact my house is full of shit that no one wants

And dp never locks the car at night, but i think the shit that nobody wants rule applies there as well.

I think he's missed the point - they leave their doors open because that way at least the door doesn't get broken down.

We live in Haringey and it seems that you don't need to leave your door open cause they just poke a stick through your letterbox, nik your car keys and off they go in a nice new megane !!!! Thats what happened to us last year !! Oh the joy to live in Haringey.

To be fair, if you were a crim, you would probably assume that a house with a door that has been left wide open has someone inside that's popping in and out quite often.

This is what I told DP when he rang me on my mobile ranting that the front door was left open. I had left it open at 8am when on my way to Bristol for the day. He rang at 6pm. Oops! Nothing got taken because it's all junk anyway.

Is it just in Haringey then? Is everywhere else riddled with criminal scum?

My sister lives in haringey and I still have to knock to get in but then that could just be me
