she said that she got lots of nasty emails from 'certain sections' when she did a piece on Nobody in the past

I agree with that theory Ursula - it does suggest where the strange idea that mumsnet was running some kind of campaign came from.

Iread Rod Liddle's comment to mean MN full of lunatics but I think he was referring to the internet in general - probably right either way you read it!
