What had happened to the conjoined twins girls that to be seperated

in the op they were having as i only caught a few seconds of it yesterday or day before

anyone??

It was successful as far I as know (from news yesterday). One will be on dialysis until she recieves a kidney from her mother in a few months.

ah they were four years old as well! hope it all goes ok for them

i thought they were older kids... i wonder why they left it so long!!!

I think the mother will give one of the girls a kidney when she's well enough for another op, as they shared a single one...

Biglips, they had to be left together soo long because of sharing organs.

Altho' these days they prefer to seperate as early as possible, it would have been impossible to support an infant with no kidney etc. So they have waited to give them the opportunity to transplant a kidney etc.
