There was an article in G2 the week before last about an independant cafe trying to work out the Coke recipe, pretty interesting and they published the recipe so you could attempt it yourself!

I thought you heated up the liquid and you had a long tube inside another tube and things condensed on the inside of the tube and you caught them and then they rose up a piece of blotting paper dipped in the liquid and different substances rose to different levels so then you coulkd identify them
