Don't they look stunningly beautiful (the marlin not the fishermen obviously)...two hours to reel one in isn't that cruel

Well they are strong, but they are strapped into a special chair which is bolted to the deck of the boat and the rod they use is also attached to the boat. The poor fish don't stand a chance really.
