news.sky.com/story/1196009/missing-boy-police-search-for-mikael-kular

Can't see another thread under news

Without a photo how will they get him recognized by the public?
He may have let himself out they seem to imply as they say may be wearing brown hooded jacket and brown shoes

Hope he's okay, poor little mite

Threads in chat too.

They'll probably release a pic as soon as they have a clear one ready.

Hope he's found soon.

McMardyBum · 16/01/2014 10:10

bumping here too, fingers crossed he is found safe quickly

FourAndDone · 16/01/2014 10:10

Seems very strange? Are they saying he has wondered off by himself? Put his own coat and shoes on?
I can't imagine what the parents must be feelingSad
Very strange there's no picture.Confused

meditrina · 16/01/2014 10:11

They're not saying anything about theories about what has happened.

Right now, the focus for the public is on getting him found.

QOD · 16/01/2014 10:14

But how can they find him? I could see him walking down the road in a blue jacket and how would I know it's him without his face? Plus they are saying "he lives somewhere like this" kind of thing. Bit weird. And what is "nightwear"? Blue pjs? Thomas? What?

I hope they find him soon.

FourAndDone · 16/01/2014 10:16

I'm referring to him last been seen at 9pm (in be presumably?)
Thought to be wearing a beige jacket and shoes (over night clothes)
So from reading the report it reads as the three year old has put his jacket and shoes on and negotiated his way out of the house?
Forgive me if I'm wrong, toddler climbing all over me so I may have missed the finer details.

FourAndDone · 16/01/2014 10:18

I too also hope he is found immediately and unscathed. Go's without saying.
Nothing wrong with questioning how it's happened when the news report is so thin.

Tailtwister · 16/01/2014 10:29

I've just seen this, it's not very far from where I live. I agree, a photo would be useful, but I have to say my suspicions would be raised if I saw a young child on their own wandering about.

meditrina · 16/01/2014 10:31

Photo has now been released.

meditrina · 16/01/2014 10:33

QOD · 16/01/2014 10:35

He looks very grown up. Tailtwister my thoughts were more about if he was WITH someone who'd taken him as opposed to randomly wandering along in a brown jacket and shoes.
You could see a man carrying a boy in a brown jacket, how do you know it was Mikail if yu don't if he's black, white, mixed race, Asian, blonde, long hair, short .. just a tad odd

Still, please let him be okay, terribly worrying, wish I could help

The police are to hold a press conference at 10:45, so perhaps more background available soon.

Tailtwister · 16/01/2014 11:01

Tailtwister my thoughts were more about if he was WITH someone

True. Let's hope that isn't the case and he's just wandered off out somewhere.

MeepMeepVrooooom · 16/01/2014 13:23

There is a picture on BBC News website.

2rebecca · 17/01/2014 07:09

My kids aged 3 couldn't get up and dressed without making a racket and would struggle with shoes. As for leaving a dry warm house to go out in the cold, dark and ? rain, why would they? Odd.

Jinty64 · 17/01/2014 23:31

I find it strange that no one would check on a three year old between 9pm and 7.15 am.

Caitlin17 · 18/01/2014 00:32

Maybe mother went to bed straight after she put him down? It does seem odd but who knows.

Solo · 18/01/2014 01:35

Oh God! they've found a body! :(

Caitlin17 · 18/01/2014 01:51

Oh dear. In Fife so there's no question of his somehow just having wandered off.

DelightedIAm · 18/01/2014 02:01

Terrible news, on top of that sky are reporting they have arrested his Mum, there is a chat thread on this.

AuntieStella · 18/01/2014 06:50

Yes, it's filled one thread and is well into a second thread in 'chat' and those will both go pfft.

The discovery of a body (in Kirkcaldy according to press reports) is very sad news to wake to.

M1SSUNDERSTOOD · 18/01/2014 08:21

Here is the news report here. Poor wee soul.

hollyisalovelyname · 18/01/2014 09:35

May he rest in peace, the poor wee boy.

AugustRose · 18/01/2014 09:39

I've just read the BBC article, I'm so sad that they haven't found him alive, poor little boy.
