MPs launch inquiry on Blood,Tissue and Organ screening following vCJD fears

This new inquiry is giving the general public the opportunity to show their concerns over the 'significant' risks of vCJD transmission via blood, tissue and organs. Many of us are totally unaware that we can be infected with vCJD from stainless steel surgical /dental instruments, blood, tissue and organs. Unless the government introduce a vCJD screening test and decontaminate all stainless steel surgical instruments to remove the deadly prions we will continue to be at risk of this fatal disease:

This is a really awful disease that a lot of people seem to have forgotten about because, so far not as many people as predicted have died from it. But for those families who have been affected it must be devastating to know that a loved one died of a disease that was caused by humans in such a cruel way.

I read a mother's story about her daughter who died from vCJD - it made me cry.
