I know it sounds terribly morbid but I would. Don't know why.

Yes I would look. Not sure I can explain why because I really am squeamish of pics of broken limbs twisted the wrong way round. Blood and guts I can handle no problem though. Very morbid but yes I would look.

There are some pretty gruesome pics on rotten.com for those with a very stiff constitution.

Marina · 15/07/2006 17:34

No. It has clearly deeply upset her sons that these pictures have been published. They were children when their mother died. Vile, as www says.

edam · 15/07/2006 17:40

Yes, out of morbid curiosity. Not a good thing, obviously.

FairyMum · 15/07/2006 17:42

No I would not look. I would not like people looking at me or my relatives after death, so I will give the same respect to others unless they have specifically signed an agreement that they would like to have a picture of their death published in an Italian gossip magazine after their death. I cannot believe some of you know these sites on the internet and has even googled it. Disgrace

puff · 15/07/2006 19:56

No.

Have seen my mother dead and grandfather dying, then dead. That's enough for me I think.

What I find laughable is people like that Jephson bloke (Diana's ex private secretary), being appalled at the publishing of the photos. He made himself a tidy sum not so long back, writing about his time working for her. What a hypocrite.

expatinscotland · 15/07/2006 22:36

I know she was rich and famous and really messed up, but man, I can imagine how upset I would be if someone published photos like that of my mother.

I just don't agree w/that no matter who it is.

That's warped, man.

Piggiesmum · 15/07/2006 23:30

I think there is probably a morbid fascination thing to it because of who she was, - not just ordinary Joe Public iyswim. But ultimately she was still a real person/mum just like the rest of us and hearing about Wills and Harry issuing a statement etc etc brings that home abit and thats the reason I am no longer even tempted to look

handlemecarefully · 16/07/2006 01:14

It's immoral imo, but nevertheless I would look

Radley · 16/07/2006 01:29

No, I have seen my mum, dad, mother in law, auntie and uncle all laid to rest in their coffins and I think that is enough for me.

Why people keep dragging things like this up is beyond me, she should be left alone to rest, she was dragged through the dirt enough after she died.

I really feel sorry for her sons.

LadyTophamHatt · 16/07/2006 07:19

yes I would.
without a doubt infact.

I'm not in the least bit squimish(anyone looked on motten.com....there are some pretty rough pictures on there I can tell you).....as awful as it is I may actullly try and find them now too

(actually I am a little bit squimish....I can't watch plastic surgery programmes when people have their noses done...when they have that little chisel up their noses and the surgeon is banging it with a little silver hammer to shave of the excess bone........that makes me feel ill....nothing else does though)

LadyTophamHatt · 16/07/2006 07:21

Ahh...now radley, seeing I peron in coffin Is comething I really couldn't look at.

Pictures of accidents and blood and guts are fine but to see a real person in a coffin would be too much for me.

LadyTophamHatt · 16/07/2006 07:27

you can hardly see a thing....incase anyone wondered.

donnie · 16/07/2006 08:18

I wouldn't and I cannot understand why anyone ele would. Would you sell pics of your dying children to make a few quid?

Blackduck · 16/07/2006 08:41

No I wouldn't look - but not out of any sense of morals, or squimishness, or whatever, but simply becuase I am not interested...

UCM · 16/07/2006 09:33

Donnie, Of course I wouldn't, no one would buy them cos' they aren't famous!

I looked at rotten.com last night on QE's say so and I have to say there are some really stomach churning sights there. Hard to understand why anyone other than a forensic scientist/doctor etc would want to look at them. The black and white pictures didn't bother me, but the colour ones....well, I won't tell you which ones turned my stomach but they are truly awful and the Diana photos are nowhere near in the same league.

WestCountryLass · 16/07/2006 19:41

Ewwww, I wish I hadn't looked at that DumbledoresGirl, gross

I must admit that morbid curiosity would probably get the better of and I would look at the pictures

themoon66 · 16/07/2006 20:10

God... just looked at rotten.com. Jeez, horrible. Yuek.

LadyTophamHatt · 16/07/2006 20:13

ugghh...motten.com???
I meant rotten but I think some of you have seen it now....

I was telling Dh about this thread and rotten.com and he almost recoiled in horror, saying no he definatley wouldn't look, too squimish etc etc.
He can't watch anything that RL hospital on telly either.

LadyTophamHatt · 16/07/2006 20:15

ummmm...I hate to say it girls but now you've seen it once you'll almost definatley be drwn back to have another look at some time.

Anyone and everyone I know who has looked has been back to look again....

Not sure why really, it just that strange curosity that gets you I think.

DumbledoresGirl · 16/07/2006 20:21

Do you know LTH, I am not sure I will be drawn back. Most of it didn't bother me at all, but there was one set of photos that was just too much for me (everyone has their limits) and I now don't even feel comfortable with the address being so high up on my address bar thingy - especially as the dss use the computer and go on the internet! Imagine them clicking on it by mistake. I am going to have to do some serious surfing to get it off the list!

themoon66 · 16/07/2006 20:26

Dumbledoresgirl - go into temporary internet files and delete it.

LadyTophamHatt · 16/07/2006 20:26

just delete the history DG and it'll disappear....

themoon66 · 16/07/2006 20:28

yeah. the history too. Ive just done mine.

DumbledoresGirl · 16/07/2006 20:43

How do i do that?
