........why say he is looking after his sick brother when he is under investigation by the police for child porn possesion/downloading?

It's so disheartening and dispiriting
in court next week

mmmmmm - wonders what the hell is going on in Reading?

Tommy · 09/07/2006 22:37

I'm really surprised zippi that not more was said if it had been going on for 7 months.
I would be writing to the Bishop by now if I were you or your DP

hadn't seen it - I'm in the other diocese - South of the river so didn't know anything about it until your post.
When it broke in our diocese (nearly 5 years ago - I was pg with DS1 so remember exactly!) it totally shook the whole community but I was really impressed with the way it was all handled - they couldn't have done it more openly.

Reporting restrictions mean the media can't name someone until they are charged. Unless the police release the information. So presumably the church relied on that to keep it all quiet.

Mind you, it does say a parish computer. Imagine his defence will be that other people had access to the computer.
