A follow-on from here.

In this thread we hope to learn:

How Marxism will feed the world and deliver a lovely-wovely pleasure-dome of joy this time, for sure, definitely, no problem;

How WW1 was actually the same as WW2 if you don't read any history;

Why respect for the sacrifice made by members of the armed forces is basically the same as setting fire to people in Afghanistan;

How it's possible to reach voting age without knowing ANYTHING AT ALL ABOUT THE WORLD.

I don't wear one. But I would contribute for the fact that I'd either not be alive or not have a english father or not have an indian mother. Ie ie wouldn't be here v(UK) in my current form if it were not for the second world war.

And lets face it mnetters LOVE a bit of multiculturalism.

Just been led here from elsewhere - and will comment briefly that AmGrowing is unlikely to be able to read through the entire previous thread at the moment owing to energy issues; but her comment may be taken to be against the people who the OP is commenting upon, rather than the OP herself. Please don't attack her as she's really not in a good place at the mo. (Shouldn't really stick my oar in here at all, sorry.)
