well I soent a great deal of time lolling about when I was a teenager and I certainly do NOT think it was a shame and a waste thank you very much.
especially now my backside rarely touches the sofa for more than 10 seconds at a time,I look back on those days with wistful fondness.
A moment spent sitting on your arse watching a really good DVD is a moment well spent IMHO
and no, they're not fat.

The comment was probably twisted as is the way with the media

Good for them, Im glad she is spending time with her DDs more than most celebs

Whilst I know she has probably made loads of bad life decisions, I admire the woman in many ways. Her children are growing up just fine. I am sure this is one of those "off the cuff" comments that is only partly true. They are far too busy to spend every weekend like that - it is just their way of catching up now and again and doing some serious bonding. Often they are in different cities/countries to each other for so long that they need that down time and close mum/daughter/sister time. Give them a break - it is not sad, it is an extraordinary family with crazy lifestyles trying to inject a little normality and routine into their world. Leave them alone you big bullies :)

My 14 year old niece often has PJ days on weekends - she never surfaces from her room watching endless hours of Buffy / Angel / OC / Hollyoaks other than to eat and use the toilet.
I think it'a a phase all teenagers go through. My sister dispairs - the rest of the family are gym junkies.

I', with Custy, who would go out when the papers only slate how fat, ugly and stupidly ginger you are.
As for 16-17 yrs
Fairly normal behavious tbh except most involve a ps2 console.
Her kids are severely restricted as to where they can go on a whim,
But yes I'd gladly make them all riff raff again Grin

Agree that it is great that her children want to spend so much time with her. I hope I will be as close to mine when they are that age.

My only problem with this article was Fergie's claim that a film such as Braveheart would teach you anything, let alone history!
