Me too janh - the footage was so shocking. He was so distressed. Amazing rescue though.

That poor boy, I bet his family were frantic too.

It just shocked me because ds2 is the same age and thinks he is invincible really, and crawling into a space like that is just the kind of thing he would do and Hastings is a place we visit from time to time.

Poor parents must have been beside themselves, but thankfully this story has a happy ending.

Poor little boy. Must have been so scary for all involved. Glad he was rescued safe and well.

How incredibly lucky he was above the high tide mark.

I saw this on the local news yesterday, it happened just along the road from where I live, poor thing had to be sedated and everything. At least he is perfectly fine and back with his family.

Poor little man, makes you blood run cold doesn't it, it could so easily have been any of ours.

Thankfully, he's young enough for the episode to eventually fade into the back of his memory. Was thinking about him today as we took ours to the beach. No rocks though, thankfully, at Dymchurch.

Scares the life out of me, as Sam likes confined spaces (As thing, apparently).

Oh my gosh. I don't live far from there. How frightening. So glad the wee thing got out ok, praise God.

Poor little lad. That has horrified me. Imagine being his Mum having to listen to his cries.

God...they would have needed to sedate me if I was his mum.
