Ahhhhhhh!
So thats why small children shout it at my dog!

Thanks for that WB. You've just ended years of wonder for me Grin

expatinscotland · 28/05/2006 10:23

They probably think it means 'light' or 'grace' something like that.

I'd venture to guess that, even as Americans, they do not know that Shiloh was a sad battle. Entertainment celebs there, like here, aren't known for being the educated type.

WelshBoris · 28/05/2006 10:28

ohyeah spagbog googled me to it!

What about the twins? Where's the other baby? Are they still looking for it?

Piffle · 28/05/2006 10:36

Shiloh means peace, if you can ignore the historical battle.

snafu · 28/05/2006 10:40

I thought she was pg with twins too, jan... strange

emkana · 28/05/2006 18:45

Another one who's confused here...
I'm sure I read they were expecting twins.

SaintGeorge · 28/05/2006 18:48

No, that rumour was stomped on back in January.

jellyjelly · 28/05/2006 19:01

Did she have it be section?

Elf1981 · 28/05/2006 21:40

I thought that Angelina had a natural birth? Not seen any reports that mention a section.

expatinscotland · 28/05/2006 21:42

Csection. She flew her 'team' of OBs and staff from the US to deliver her. Along w/some chocolate covered peanuts.

[rolls eyes and ducks] - if you're gonna talk the talk, Angie, fucking walk the walk!

Elf1981 · 28/05/2006 21:46

I think it's a bit unfair to diss people for having a section. I had one with my daughter, she was breech and I had pre-eclampsia, it was nothing to do with me wanting to avoid a labour.

Though there does seem to be a high proportion of celebs having them!

snafu · 28/05/2006 21:46

Slebs aren't people though, elf Grin

hunkermunker · 28/05/2006 21:47

There were photos of the pool she was going to have in New magazine.

Fucking stupid name.

It's just a different life, isn't it?

expatinscotland · 28/05/2006 21:48

It's the fact that she got on her high horse about making a big 'statement' having the baby in Africa, but then paid an arm and a leg to have a team of US physicians flown in and put up to deliver her.

Not the section itself.

Although it does seem that nearly every celeb bar Jordan and a few others have sections.

spacedonkey · 28/05/2006 21:53

Bah!

Congratulations to Ange and Brad Smile

morocco · 28/05/2006 21:55

what was the big statement about having the baby in africa then?? bit baffled by that bit.

expatinscotland · 28/05/2006 21:57

She feels connected to Africa, morocco, except when it comes to healthcare, apparently.

America is an evil place. Except for when you need chocolate covered peanuts flown over to you in Namibia and a team of OBs.

hester · 28/05/2006 22:04

I didn't think anything could make me laugh tonight, expat, but you just have Grin

expatinscotland · 28/05/2006 22:05

And then you go and name your kid Shiloh Nouvel.

There you go, Angie. Even though you are half-French. You can take the girl outta California, but you can't take the California outta the girl . . .

hester · 28/05/2006 22:08

Grin Grin

MarsLady · 28/05/2006 22:08

So no one wants to comment on the luxury resort that they were staying at and how they paid over £2million to have it all to themselves?

Just me then!

btw Congrats Brangelina.

expatinscotland · 28/05/2006 22:11

Maybe she attended the Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris(t) Martin School of Earth Mothering . . .

tribpot · 28/05/2006 22:25

Did she really have a c-section? At 2 in the morning? (not outside the realms of possibility, but if I was going to schedule one, it wouldn't be then. Plus I would not call my child Shiloh, different story).

Namibia is a lovely country and I think it's nice for them to have been on the world stage for the last few weeks, even if by and large Brangelina have been pissing the locals of Swakopmund off. At least now people have heard of the country! They have very nice cakes - legacy of German occupation.
