its the elasticity of your skin rather than if ur mum had them u will.

If your belly expands faster than your body can stretch your skin cells then thats what creates stretch marks.

ah, but if your mum's skin is elastic, than yours may be too.

I was 33 when I had my first and no stretch marks - and I was a size 6 pre-pregnancy. Talking of stretch marks - I think my theory might be correct - has anyone seen Posh's belly - full of em. She had her 1st around 26 but, due to her weight and PCOS (allegedly) bet she hasn't had as many periods as a regular 28 dayer.

That's an unfair comparison. She is part ape. Just look at her nose. We are discussing human pregnancies here.

And her lack of periods could also be due to lack of body fat.

I also had a lack of body fat but still had periods - mind you I don't have an ape nose so I'll stop the comparison there
