They never ban the little tykes that actually fling the things do they?... Hope they apply equal opportunity sanctions to other triangular foods. Dairylea, Samosas, green Quality Street, Toblerone.....

Seriously? But squares would have four sharp corners instead of three how about disciplining the kid who threw it???

But why are the flapjacks so hard. Do they not crumble at all on impact? Is it a problem with the cooking method?

Seriously these children are year 7s. That means that they are 11-12 years old I think. If they've not learnt to throw food at each other by this point then I have serious questions about their parenting, education and general manners. I asked DD and she clarified that the one person shes ever known to throw food at her school was made to stand in silence for the rest of lunch and didnt do it again (she's 7) The thrower should have got a detention and extra geometry questions based around triangles
